GRMCD is accepting applications for the position of URBAN AREA COORDINATOR.  


The Grand River Mosquito Control District has an opening for a full-time, year-round Urban Area Coordinator.  Beginning pay range is $28 to $31 per hour depending on qualifications.  Comprehensive benefits including flexible winter hours, health care, retirement, paid personal leave, 10 holidays, short- and long-term disability, and educational assistance.   Previous work experience in pest control is desired but will provide training.

Suppress mosquito populations, within the boundaries of the district, and in an environmentally responsible manner.

Monitor both larval and adult mosquito populations; to organize the population statistics, to evaluate organizational efforts, and to plan subsequent control strategies.
